SAFEGUARDING
The PCC of St Anne’s, Oldland takes its safeguarding responsibilities very seriously. If you are concerned that someone you know of is being abused; has been abused; is at risk of being abused; or presents a risk to others, it is your duty to disclose this to either the Parish Safeguarding Officer, the diocesan Safeguarding Team or, if more appropriate, a dedicated independent support service. If there is immediate risk or danger to an individual contact the Police on 999.

The Parochial Church Council of St Anne, Oldland are committed to:
Promoting a safer environment and culture
Safely recruiting and supporting all those with any responsibility related to children and vulnerable adults
Responding promptly to every safeguarding concern or allegation
Caring pastorally for those who are the subject of concerns/allegations of abuse and other affected persons
Responding to those that may pose a present risk.

Parish Safeguarding Officers
Parish Safeguarding Officers are appointed by the PCC and support the church leadership with the formation and implementation of our safeguarding policies and procedures. They are also the first port of call for any safeguard-ing concerns or questions at St Anne, Oldland.
